Can not make outgoing calls. Always a busy signal. Can not receive incoming call always a busy signal.

SOURCE: NEC phone system - Forwarding incoming call gets busy signal

please call the engineer from which you have purchased the EPBAX system to congiure the same. It happens if something is wrong in line card at the exchange or the extentions are not configured properly with the Key Telephone System.

SOURCE: No audio on outgoing or incoming calls

dakarjohn - you need to replaced the speaker on the phone.

GUEST - replace the speaker on the phone.


SAEFUJI - you need to replaced the flexcable on the phones, contact your mobile provider or your local operator for assistance.

check and make sure you ringer is set to something but silent.

SOURCE: mitel 5212 no dial tone and goes straight to voicemail

Not too sure about the no dial tone issue, but you can check to see if the DND is turned on...
Press the Blue Superkey and scroll thru till you see DND (Do Not Disturb) is on and shut it off.

Mine also did this. It only does this when you do not have signal. If you do have signal and it still does this you just need to call ATT and confirm it with them. They ended up sending me a new one that has better software on it for free.

in settings there is an option reject call and sms just change yes to no

No incomming call


Check if you have activated any diverts. If possible, put the sim in other handset to see if the problem persists. If nothing works, try resetting your phone or take it to the service center.

use your simcard in other phone if u can make outgoing calls then the problem is in your phone.and if u ant contact your service provider

To cancel bared incoming calls on your phone, enter one of the code given below.
##67#, ##21#,##62# or ##61# then okay/send/yes. the phone will be unbarred.

Can't receive incoming calls, make outgoing ones either.


Always start with taking the battery out. If it continues then you probably have a bad mic & need to have it replaced.
