If your job did not print due to printer error, it will not mysteriously start to print.
Go to your printer icon and locate the jobs in queue and click on it to cancel the job. Might take a while for it to disappear.

How cancel the print job in cannon lbp 2900 printer

Hi and welcome to fixya,

Go to control panel > Devices and Printers

double click your printer, you'll be able to see the queue...Right click on the document and select Cancel printing.

You can alternately push the power button to immediately stop the current page being printed. You will receive an error message but click cancel and proceed normally.

Hope this helps

Having problems deleting pending documents

Assuming you have a modern windows pc, You will need to manually stop the print service. Do this by running the command "net stop spooler" from the "run" line. Then go to "C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS" and delete all the files from there. After these files are gone, start the spooler service again by running "net start spooler". You should be all set after that.
