I have lost the quick release portion of the tripod. Where I can purchase a replacement part?

i will make a few for myself, out of plastic, add a small bolt. much faster than on the web. i have 2 tripods wih out that part, useless with out it.

I think I may have found it! I to have an Amibco Tripod and are missing the plate. After 2 days of searching I think I found it. Try this web site....http://www.tripodquickrelease.com/Ambico_Quick_Releases.htm

WizUnfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a quick source for parts for Ambico tripods (: I have one. Fortunately, they are not very expensive- eBay had several for less than $10 starting bid.

I also need a quick release and the company doesn't really care that we need the parts. I have 2 of them. One I fell over and bent and the other needs a quick release. Maybe I should offer them for parts

I am missing the quick release part of an Ambico tripod (which is at least 10 - 11 years old, & not sure what model it is). I checked e-bay for release parts, but had no luck yet. Anyone know if the release part from a new tripod would fit an older one, or another place I could check?
