Question about LG Washing Machines
Please send details how to clean the draininig system.
Remove the cover of the washer so you can see the internal workings of the machine.
All washers drain from the large hose coming out of the bottom of the tank. The hose goes directly to the pump input and then goes output into drain hose. Remove the clamp holding the drain hose on the input side of the pump and pull the hose off. Visually inspect inside of pump for any foreign matter.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F21 error is displayed when the washer is unable to drain, press PAUSE/CANCEL button twice to clear the display. After this please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any blockages and make sure it is not clogged with foreign particles. You can also check the drain pump to verify that its working. Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged
drain pump, drain filter or a kinked drain hose. Clean the drain hose, inspect
if the drain hose is plugged. Also check the connection to the drain pump and
make sure wiring is fine. Check the electrical connections with a multimeter.
If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.
