SOURCE: Nikon Coolpix L15 - save picture to photo card

I assume you mean transfer from internal memory to card?
This is on the menu system - simple scroll through the menus to find transfer.
Also the MANUAL[Handbook] will tell you.
no book - look on the software disk it is there as a PDF file that can be read/printed.

SOURCE: Nikon Coolpix 2100/3100/3200 battery compartment door latch broken (again)

I just purchased a new battery door for $15 with shipping from nikon. They sent a simple assembly diagram and I was able to replace the door in 30 minutes. I used a dremel to cut the old door off, but you dont have to do that. I got a little impatient.

Just buy the plastic piece and u can reuse the metal parts for your old battery door.

Two things to check...ISO (should be auto ISO or a setting between 100-400) and Exposure Compensation (should be set to "0")

Check your white balance, ISO rating and exposure compensation. BTW, no need to post twice.

Why does my Coolpix overexpose images when zoomed in?

If you zoom in then press the shutter down halfway. If you zoom with the shutter pressed half way you can get an over exposed image.

Overexposed photos on a nikon D60 in sunlight

You could set the white balance to the full sun setting. You could set the ISO to a lower number. You could set the "exposure compensation" to a lower number.

Flash blows out the image!!!

hi ,

it could be possible that the light sensor (the device under the red transparent plastic) in front of the flash is already failing. to test, set the camera mode to auto then cover the sensor with your hand and do some test shots, the images should be overexposed if the sensor is covered, then shoot some photos without covering the sensor, the images should be properly exposed , otherwise it might already be a light sensor failure .

Overexposure

CoolPix 5700's have a common image sensor failure. Check with Nikon for recalls, this may be the cause of your issue. Alternatively the shutter may be stuck open, causing too much light to reach the sensor and causing over exposure as well as lines across the image. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
