Try the auto code search. Switch on the device > Select the device key to program > Hold the green "Set" button for 3 seconds > Press "OK" at "Setup" > press "OK" at "Code Se[t]" > Press the down arrow to highlight "Auto" > Press "OK" > Aim at the device > Hold the down arrow for 2 seconds > Press the "OK" button when the device powers off.

I have gone both the $200 and $3 Big Lots solution and have found that all these newer universals will work just fine.
Don't be immediately scared that your model isn't printed on the blister card that your new remote is in. Just find the Auto Search function instruction in the universal's guidebook and step through the instructions. It'll basically entail you hitting the 'up' button a dozen or more times till your TV turns off (#1 feed back that your TV got matched to the right code).
Just don't get frustrated.
