Can anyone tell me what this serial number and model number go to model 91725600 / serial number 1872.its on a sears HT/14 JUST DONT KNOW THE YEAR.THANKS

You can track it through the manufacturer which should give you the year it was made.

The serial number alone is not enough to determine the year unless you also include the maker and the model number. Even then it may not be possible, but without that information there is not enough criteria to figure it out.

For example, if the tractor was made by Sears then you probably could narrow down the year based upon the years of production of that particular model at Sears.

Sometimes the year is embedded in the serial number, but the algorithm for determining that is based upon the maker and the model...there is no universal serial number to model year conversion... And in some cases the serial number has nothing to do with the model year... It literally can be a randomized number that's ensured/verified to be unique... However in that case the company may have a database that they can look it up and tell you.

my recommendation is to call the company that manufactured it and give them the model number and the serial number and they will probably be able to tell you... If they can't, chances are there is no easy way to figure it out.

Go sears parts direct and order a manual. It will tell you where to oil it. I am not familiar with a model 14. I think that you have to look at the nonclementure plate and get the whole number.

Find the serial number of the machine and call Sears parts department. They should be able to look it up and tell you the part number.

If you have not done this go to sears parts direct. If I am not mistaken you model number should start with 917. Hope this will help.
