Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I Stop my Microsoft surface pro 5 battery from losing charge so quickly

There are no surface pro 4's or 5's yet unless you are an engineer at Intel. If you want it to stop discharging so quickly- turn it off, and no I don't just mean put it in standby. You need to power it off completely- that way you will keep it from eating your battery when not in use. These things boot so fast that the inconvenience of 15 seconds is not worth the hassle of a dead battery coming out of sleep after a day or so.

I don't recall a TV by Kindle Paperwhite. You'll get more help if you post it correctly. Otherwise I'd say contact the maker's help desk.

What is cell standby? how do I turn it off? it is draining the battery.

The device can be turned OFF completely. It will not answer if someone calls. It can also be on standby and waiting. It will come alive when you receive a call. The standby requires energy, but less than if its is being used.

I cannot be sure how you turn the device OFF completely, because you do not specify the make and model of your tablet/phone. On my android phone, i press a button lightly and the phone goes on standby. Or I could press the button a little longer and the screen displays three choices among which is TURN POWER OFF.
The best source of instructions is the manual that shipped with your device. If you do not have it, go to the manufacturer's web site and search for the manual for your device.
