Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Try running Windows Updates on your computer to see if there are updates for Internet Explorer. Also, try running Internet Explorer in Safe Mode.

What does it mean when the screen on the remote says "safe mode!"?

Hi. Safe mode means that you need to update the firmware on the remote.

1. Launch the software and log in.
2. Click 'Downloads' at the top.
3. Click 'Firmware'.
4. Update the remote.

Hope that helps :)

Configuring problems

Get the system to enter safe mode, turn off auto update, and do a system restore. Then go to update and pick, check for updates but let me choose whether to install. Then look at the updates and install
one at a time, or you can post back the update# and we will tell
you what is important and which ones you can hide.

NO MAPS FOUND

Hi All,

I too had the same problem. What a pain in the @$$. Here's what I did... after I tried everything under the sun I finally decided to Log In... even though it says you don't need to in order to do updates.

So I created an account.
Then I updated with the TT ONE New Edition software.
Then I closed TT HOME program.
Then I clicked the icon at the bottom right of the screen for safely removing devices and clicked to remove the TomTom.
Then the TT ONE updated itself and I got my map back.

Good Luck!
