Hi I need hep to install addons for kodi on my phone . When I enter url it says no network. Wifi and url is fine. HELP xx

If you are trying to install addons for Kodi on your phone and are receiving a "no network" error when entering the URL, there could be a few potential issues to check:
  1. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet. Check that your Wi-Fi or cellular data is turned on and you have a strong signal.
  2. Ensure that you have entered the correct URL for the addon you want to install. Double-check the spelling and formatting to make sure there are no errors.
  3. Verify that the website hosting the addon is working properly. Try accessing the website on a different device to see if it loads correctly.
  4. Check that your Kodi settings allow for third-party addon installations. To do this, go to Settings > System > Add-ons and toggle on the option for "Unknown sources."
If you have checked all of these potential issues and are still receiving the "no network" error, you may want to reach out to the support team for the addon or Kodi itself for further assistance.

Make sure all your computers are using the "Workgroup" and that all the workgroup names are the same.

Go to "My Computer" - right click and select "Properties". When the windows open select the "Computer Name" tab. Check the name for "Workgroup" - it is normally defaulted to "WORKGROUP". Make sure all you computers have the same name. Then, you can select which directories you want to share on your computer, right click in "Windows Explorer" and select "Share". It will ask you what name you want to use. "Select anything you want. On other computers, you should then bwe able to connect to that directory by using <computer name>/<directory name>.

this is just the basics - it can get very difficult if you need to interface between different versions of windows or if one of your computers is not in a workgroup. Good Luck.

File Sharing with Home Network...only one pc talking

The message for an unplugged network cable, means you have enabled wired network, but the cable isn't there. No problem if you are connected wireless.
To be able to access files on computers over your network, you need to enable filesharing for the desired directories or disks.
Right-click the directory or disk, go to sharing and set the correct settings. Maybe you have to allow for network sharing the first time.
