I WOULD LIKE A FREE ADOBE READER, PLEASE!

You can use the 'official' Adobe one:
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

...or a more lightweight ad-supported one:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/

...or this one, which is lightweight and open-source:
http://blog.kowalczyk.info/software/sumatrapdf/index.html

All are free.  Personally I use the Foxit reader, but am considering moving to the Sumatra one.

Adobe reader will not open received email attachments. Installed AR 7 still does not work

So big a program, so many problems and annoyances..

The best solution ever for those who just want a PDF reader without all the bells and whistles and associated rubbish that Adobe force you to contuinual update, is to get Foxit Reader from a secure source such as this link: -

http://download.cnet.com/Foxit-Reader/3000-10743_4-10313206.html

This just so simple and small it makes Adobe PDF Reader look like a lumbering dinosaur.

iTunes is free and is the best software available for use with iPods. Below I have included several intruction (guides) for you just in case you are a new user and need the information. If you have any difficulties past here please do let me know. I have a well of information on iTunes/iPods. :)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adding content on your computer to iTunes
iTunes lets you add digital audio and video files on your computer directly to your iTunes library. You can add audio files that are in AAC, MP3, WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, or Audible.com (.aa) format. If you have unprotected WMA content, iTunes for Windows can convert these files to one of these formats. Video content in QuickTime or MPEG-4 format can also be added to iTunes. To learn how to add these files to iTunes follow the steps below.
Open iTunes From the File menu, choose one of the following choices: Mac Add to Library Windows Add File to Library Add Folder to Library Navigate to and select the file or folder that you want to add If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library", iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. Then adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes preferences.
