Remove all batteries, bring the two units together and put the batteries in the base unit first, then the outdoor unit; they should sync within 2-3 minutes. Once they have exchanged temp and humidity once, you can separate them. Good luck.

Why my station do not show interior temp and humidity

Make sure that the battery is good and that you have reset it after installation. If that does not do the trick then the electronics of your unit are no good. A weak battery will result in incorrect or no readings at all.

According to instructions for similar systems, you have to replace batteries in the outdoor unit first, then the indoor unit and wait 10 minutes without pressing any buttons for the indoor unit to begin displaying the outdoor temperature.

You have to push some buttons to tell the MAIN unit to scan, then put battery into the REMOTE, set channel, and hit reset through a little hole. And the MAIN should see it.

I put new batteries into both units, the indoor unit and outdoor unit, now it is not able to read the outdoor temperature. What needs to be done?

I'm having the same problem and can't find an answer. Seems this also happened with another model we had - planned obsolescence? It was working fine, flashing due to low battery. Now, nothing from outside. Annoying.

Outside unit not registering temp and humidity to base unit

Uniden EWCI936
To get the outside temperature working again, open the outdoor sensor box carefully loosening the one screw with a screwdriver, insert 3 brand new AA batteries, check phone for outside temperature. If not showing on the phone display, try changing the 'channel' setting, just above the batteries. Be careful not to break the tiny switch. Gently use a smaller flathead screwdriver, if needed. There are 3 settings. Mine worked fine on the first setting. If it is showing on the phone set screens, then, carefully screw the lid back on to the sensor box, and re-insert into the sensor wall holder. I keep mine in a plastic bag on a shelf outside, away from sun, so I can get a true reading day or night. It is always a bit warmer in the sunlight than the true outdoor air temperature. Enjoy
