SOURCE: Replacing front LCD panel
Looks easy to replace boy did you pick the wrong model, I've done this job, what a pain of a design, you just want to get to those four screws that hold that operations panel in, heres what needs to be done first, remove left rear corner covers(2) and disconnect wires cables that go to Doc feeder and scanner(27millon), unscrew and remove doc feeder, now you can take out scanner top with glass, from base to reveal screws for operations panel. flow chart below .. and dont order that part it is the LCD display only - you want number depends on country but i think the states is .LE8846001 , PANEL UNIT, MFC8840D FOR ASA/OCE not LG4383001 LCD
And dont swear when doing job remember your a qualified engineer!! have fun,

SOURCE: I have no front control panel working and changes channels
The front controls are called Tac Switches. They have a tendency of becoming corroded and sending erroneous commands to the micro. You can disconnect the lead coming from the control panel to the chassis and see if it quits. If it does, that answers your question. If you decide to replace them all, try Encompassparts.com

SOURCE: broken d/s window switch
More than likely the door panel the switch sets in is broken not the switch, this is common. You will need to try and find a used panel in the right color. I suggest you use a used part search engine you can find by googling "used Buick/car parts request from".
