F&P OS302 was in self cleaning when we had a power failure. The oven will not heat but controls, fans operate. Control board or thermostat is bad?

If your heating elements are not open then the issue lies with the controls and circuitry that operate the heating coils. Get yourself a schematic and trace it out and you will find the culprit.

My Fisher and Paykel Aerotech OS302 oven will not heat up to desired temperature.

This type of problem normally can be ascribed to a defective thermostat. Unfortunately there is no test for a thermostat, it has to be replaced to see if the problem has been sorted out.
One thing you can do is remove the thermostat bulb from the oven and place place it in a position where it will not heat up. Place an oven thermometer in the oven. Switch on and see of the temperature climbs above what you wee seeing before. This is a very much hands on test as you have no control over the temperature that the elements can get to. As soon as you see the temperature reach a point above that seen before, shut down immediately.

KitchenAidKEBS107: NO HEAT after power failure during self clean

Thermostat on the back needs replacement. The problem is caused by overheating the oven. Improper installation or inadequate blower. Depending on the model, the oven might need a new blower in addition to the thermostat. Try calling KitchenAid to find out if the oven needs that blower and get the part number for the thermostat, they might have replaced it with the one with higher temperature rating.

Oven wont heat

That depends if the oven is electric or gas.

If it is electric, it can be heating element, temp probe, or control knob/buttons, board and wiring.

If it is gas it can be the igniter (check spark) , the thermostat, the safety valve that prevents accidental gas flow, or the control.

If the oven has self cleaning cycle, check that it is not stuck on self cleaning, try unplugging for a while and restarting self cleaning cycle in that case.
