Question about The Computers & Internet
I removed the battery and re inserted it. Nothing happened.

I would try pressing and holding the power button at the same time press and hold the volume up button. This has worked for me when I had a similar problem - If/when the phone lights up, release the power button, but keep hold of the volume up button, and with luck, you may then see reset options.
I looked around and this seems to work on some coolpad models, so it might work on yours.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: Screen says to
If it is giving you that message that means it is not detecting the SIM in the slot. You can try removing the SIM and clean it with a soft cloth and reinsert it. You can also try to use any other SIM and make sure if the phone's SIM contact is working properly.

SOURCE: My battery just went dead
It is better change the battery first, know if the phone runs in good condition as well as it charged after a low battery level, when the phone still got the same problem, your phone might be shorted were the value of resistance is double using a multi tester. To test if your phone is grounded, you need a multi tester and range the selector to Rx1 * tap the positive pin in the positive battery terminal of the board as well as the negative pin into the negative battery terminal too,the meter should raise up. * now tap the negative pin of the tester into the positive battery terminal and the positive pin into the negative battery terminal,if the rate is 0 it means the phone is good, but if raises high,it means the phone is grounded and had a power supply problem.in this case, bring the phone to a mobile service center for a complete diagnosis and troubleshooting.

SOURCE: My coolpad 3300a has 2 messages at startup. One says Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped. And the other, Unfortunately OMADM has stopped. I did a hard reset, but it didn't help.
contact the manufacturer there might be a firmware update that will fix it but if not a new phone is in order

Pulling the battery is not a hard reset. To do a factory reset to any android device do the following as instructed at the link attached below. http://www.hard-reset.com/coolpad-quattro-4g-hard-reset.html
