I returned an item and received confirmation it was received then was just sent a message saying it was not received and would be charged for it. How do I clear this up?

Empty the Outbox in Outlook Express, move any messages you want to Send later to the Drafts folder.

Close Outlook Express.
Do a Search for .dbx files.
Search:

  • Start > Search > For Files or Folders > All files and folders,
    In the field for: all or part of the file name
    Key in:
    .dbx
    Below that, click on More advanced options
    in the field: Type of File, select (All Files and Folders)
    place a checkmark in:
  • Search system folders
  • Search hidden files and folders
  • Search subfolders
    click Search

Locate the Outbox.dbx file and Sent Items.dbx file and delete it.
Restart Outlook Express, a new Outbox.dbx file will be created.
Send yourself a Test message to see if it leaves the Outbox.


You may need to enable Show Hidden Files and Folders to see the .dbx files.
Windows XP:
  • Open My Computer,
    Tools > Folder Options > View tab,
    under Hidden Files and Folders, verify Show Hidden Files and Folders is selected.
    Remove the check mark for Hide Extensions for known file types.
    Apply, OK to save and close.

SOURCE: need confirmation of fax sent and received

You can setup the printer to print a confirmation page on send. Push the setup button - then push right arrow until you see print report and press okay - press right arrow until you see fax confirmation and press ok - push right until it says on send and press ok. Hit cancel to go back to default and now you will get a confirmation for all sent faxes.

Even it shows sent successfully. But you have to check the Mail delivery sub-sysmtem, there will be display of - Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently or some notification will be there.: This may due to technical reasons. Please check and try.

The tracking number for posting the item back to the sender is:r25**********190


Not us at Fixya Mary. You need to contact the person you sent the item back to.

If it is tracked, you are better off waiting until your tracking says it is delivered and then contact them THAT DAY and tell them, 'tracking shows you received the item today, so refund my money'. It is normal that they will probably charge you a restocking fee.

Amazon order was undeliverable. Where is item? How to get it delivered? Can I cancel it and later reorder to new address?

I received three suspicious return emails this morning that say an email was unable to be sent to numerous contacts in my address book. These are contacts that I HAVE NOT sent ANY type of email or messages...


First check your Sent Message folder, if you find any sent item that you haven't sent, then there must be something going on with your account, perhaps it's been hacked or with similar unauthorized access. If you find any suspicious activities, simply change the password and wait for another hours to make sure you don't receive another failed delivery message.

You also need to check your mail options such as your signature, in most cases, hacker/s changes the contents of the signature and the sender's name, etc..etc.. Probably they have inserted some texts in place of your signature. If you find so, delete them and save the new settings.

Iam connected to a computer with the same line going to my telephone so every time I get a message it says my mailbox is full just like it does when I am the computer when someone calls.


You are getting a message saying "mailbox is full" when you receive a message, right? What kind of message is that? Is it a text or an email message?

If that's an email message, you may need to delete all of the sent items and see if you will get the same problem. If it's a text message, delete the copy of sent text messages.

Usually, sent items does not look like it's eating up your storage, but the truth is, it's causing your mailbox to get full.

Ask for a Charge Back in your Credit Card; maybe they are borrowing time so the date to charge back expires.
