Question about Televison & Video
Have you changed any light bulbs in the area or added any other IR ( infrared) operated equipment ?
it sounds strange but it is possible that you are getting bad IR information generated by devices IE compact fluorescent or LED lamps also from the sun or other elecronics.
try turning off the lights and or blocking out the sun etc.
see if you remote and or TV stops giving you issues

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: While watching a DVD on
A wireless device never works continuously, it sends and receives the data in bursts / packets , and the HDMI will follow this pattern. In between them the system sits practically idle. If the time between the bursts is too long the device might think that the HDMI cable has been disconnected and switch to the next available connector - AV2.
Since this happens while you are using it correctly (the cables are firmly inserted) with a bandwidth demanding signal like DVD then your unit is defective and it should be replaced.
But, unless your tv is in a place where it's absolutely impossible to get a HDMI cable directly to the tv, you should just get rid of it and get your money back - a direct HDMI link will provide you with a better image and an easier setup: with this device you will not be able to add a home theater to your tv. In my opinion this is a $300 device that nobody really needs, it's just an unnecessary gimmick.
