N130 netbook black screen four beeps a pause followed by 2 beeps

the beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk and remains active until turned off.
make sure that your RAM sockets are clean and dust free and the ram modules are securely seated,

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty ?
one bad lead will end with a computer error a computer needs its connections continue its cycle and have an end to function properly

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause this problem follow the troubleshooting procedure a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers
when you plugged the external disk drive you got that windows could recognize the USB device change the cable just replace the cable of the hard disk everything should work fine again, sometimes the wires inside the cable will be damaged due to bending or stretching or placing heavy equipment upon the cable,
check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red-white-green-black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems
hope this helps

Tip

Windows system always restart

Computer often restarts, can not enter windows.
Firstly check your ram.
If you can, do a test with the new ram it's better.
if not, make sure your use ram is fully functional.

Turn on your computer, if the problem is still the same.
Do a test on your power supply. make sure the power supply to do the test is 100% work or use the new.

Turn on your computer again, if the problem still occurs. unplug all cables connected to hard disks, cd / dvd rom, floppy and remove all the pci cards. now leave the connection to the power supply to the motherboard and the other connecting wayer suiz on / off (all the connections on the panel) if you are using a display card, left the display card in the slot and then turn on your computer.

Now look at the results. if still the same. This means you need to do tests on your processor and motherboard. but if your computer does not restart again stable, this means, most likely the problem comes from the hard disk.

Ok. now try to connect to your hard disk. problem occurs frequently restart
again right?

If so, you need to perform tests on your hard disk.
how to perform the test, if you have important data in the hard disk. I suggest you first Copy your data to another computer first. by connecting the hard disk into the computer that you want to use to make copies (if the type of hard disk pata / ideas, set the jumper to slave and connect to any idea that the cable has not been used in the computer you use, if no the cable idea, you can use a cable that is used for cd / dvd ram for a while) if your SATA hard disk, no need to set jumpers, just connect the sata cable and then just copy the data may be at work to do.

After completion of all copied data. The cover page, then klik2x on my computer icon. observe the hard disk drive for. (For example, now for the hard disk drive is e. Right-click on the drive and click format. If the page to format mungul. Tick box format for quick and clear the volume level and then click Start.

after the format, remove the hard disk and set the jumper to the original and put it on your computer. then for the window installation process you will be done as usual.
** (If your problem still occurs. My suggestion is that you must use a new hard disk or a 100% hard work and re-do the installation window, because the hard disk is damaged or has a bad sector will cause your system files are always auto restart due -file to boot normally have been damaged or lost due to bad sectors.) **

good luck ...
Contact me for further problems

Regards
multilinkent
Thank fixya

I have a problem with my m/b k7som+ 7.5c. When I press the pwr button everything seems ok, all fans are working properly and I also hear the HDD spinning sound. However there is no POST beep or anything...

Hello,

There are a few procedures you can possibly try before replacing components.

I HIGHLY recommend you unplug power while trying these steps

1) Unplug power and remove CMOS battery (usually a small silver circular battery) on motherboard for 1 minuted then reinstall battery and see if it boots up.

2) Re-seat all RAM memory chips. If it doesn't help, then try booting the system 1 memory chip at a time, to rule out a bad stick of RAM

3) If you have a separate video card (not onboard video) then try re-seating it

4) unplug both data and power cables to all internal components (hard drives, CD-Roms, Floppies, etc) and also internal cards and see if it boots. If it does then reconnect one device at a time til you find the culprit

That's pretty much all you can do without swapping out parts.

I hope this help and I wish you luck!!

Regards

Failed to boot, i cant even get to the bios! only the fan running, led(green) and (red) indicator doesn't even light.

Dear Client, unpluged all the data cables, power cables or wires, bios cell and RAMs. Everything should be unpluged from the motherboard for two hours and then reassmbled. It will work properly but when you reassembled it just plug with the follwing devices.

* Power Cables
* Data Cables
* Bios cell
* Processor + Fan
* RAMs

Do not attach CD-Rom or Hard Disk, just turn on the computer without Hard Disk and CD-Rom and try to enter in bios setup. I assure your problem will be solve. Now you can attach the CD-Rom and then try to boot up from the CD-Rom and in the last you should try to attach Hard-Disk. I hope you will do it step by step and get success.

Good Luck

Can i plug a IDE dvd-r & SATA drive together? my new pc wont recognize the hard drive

The IDE DVD and the SATA hard drive can be installed together in the desktop computer, BUT not on the same data cable, they have different types of data cables and disk controllers.
You need an IDE disk controller and a SATA disk controller, the late model motherboards have both types of controllers on the motherboard.

Cannot load operationing system because of fault saying, "no hard disk found in this computer"

Check the data cable. Make sure it is fully connected. (Sometimes they come loose). Check all connected data cable's & power cables within the system. Start with the new drive you installed. Unplug the data cable & re-connect. Follow it to the motherboard & do the same. If no cable seemed loose than replace the hard disk drive's cable with a new cable. Standard 80-conductor Ultra DMA IDE/ATA interface cable. See below;

ab2779a.jpg When you start up the dimension 4600, enter the bios, watch your screen at start up. You will need to press F2 or F10 key to enter the bios.
Once in the bios check that you hard disk drive is shown.
Most bios will list the drive by its model number. If you see the model number of the drive chances are you can save & exit the bios. Button up the case. You should be able to load windows.

Luck!

Hi, pc doesn't load bios

Hey just remove the hard disk and and removable drive and then try.
And check that your hard disk data cable and cd/dvd driver data cable is in good position or not. Many times the problem is happens because of cable. So you just try a new cable.

I have replaced my RAM but now when I turn on my laptop there is no hard disk drive recognised. What can I do?

You have to modify your computer setup by telling it about the new RAM. Have you done that?
