Reset the system. Take all cords off tower. Then re hook up. Power system has a default that resets when all connections are removed ALL

Generally a fault in the power supply will stop it powering up. If the power supply is a separate unit order a replacement. You can then if you wish get the old one repaired, or fix it yourself if you can.

Model Yamaha ME-50 no power

John
With AC power off.
Use a meter (on Ohms scale) to check internal fuse for blown (open) fuse.
If you feel qualified & safe with AC Power On.
Check input to internal power supply on AC Scale (Caution when AC is on) for volts in.
Use meter on internal Power Supply for "probably" DC volts leaving internal Power Supply electronics to power the rest of the electronic circuits.
Switch mode power supplies can break down. They stop doing their high frequency switching so they don't convert AC to DC.
If this P/Sup is a separate box or circuit board, inside the unit, then it can have a part number & be replaced.
Good Luck

Why did my micro stop working?

I guess the main plug fuse does not blow for the same reason it does not blow and you can wreck a PC, although not certain why that is. I have a feeling from past work on a Panasonic that there is an internal fuse as well. This may have blown with the power surge.

How do I reset a technics sa-gx350 receiver unit

Don't know that you can actually reset this unit like the new digital receivers. It does have protection circuitry that will shut the unit down in case speaker wires are shorted or if speaker impedance is less than the indicated rated impedance of the amp. do the following:
1. Turn off power and unplug from wall.
2. Check all connections and correct if needed.
3. Turn back on after 1-2 minutes.
If unit is still in protect mode you may want to unplug everything from the unit and then power back up to see if the problem is internal or external. If it powers up correctly then the problem is external. Power back down and plug in one external item at a time and power back up between connecting each item to see which item causes the receiver to go into protection mode.
If problem seems to be internal I'd recommend taking to an electronics repair shop if you aren't comfortable with taking apart to check fuses, terminations, etc. There may be a 5-amp fuse in the power plug head also.

Jamo sub 250

Internal power? Check fuses. No fuses? Disassemble and check Power supply if it is internal. If it is external, check power supply with meter.;.

No power or functions of any kind.

Check the external fuse / circuit breaker first.

IF that is OK, then it's possible an internal fuse has blown. These can be replaced but it should only be attempted if you are confident enough to be able to discharge and ground the main capacitor before working on the device.

Suddenly power goes off. will not restart,

If there is no external fuse at the back panel, then there must be an internal fuse. I assume you tried another outlet in your home.

Our Image 19.0 R treadmill just stopped in the middle of my workout. We tried the reset switch and made sure the outlet is working, but it won't start.

remove power socket from supply outlet, check external fuses or overload reset trips
if still no results open covers and check internal fuses if you think you are competenet to do so otherwise DO NOT IF THINK OF IT.
if a blown fuse is found try to relace with an exact type and value
close back covers and re try
call technical assistance if still no results
