Could you do lg tv to dish it self

If you are asking can you connect a satellite dish DIRECTLY to the input of an HDTV the answer is no. The satellite signal is encoded and requires a decoder box to decrypt and separate the input signals that will be sent to the set.

Do i need dish

baryare496

If you want to receiver a satellite signal, you will need a dish outside and a receiver to decode the signal enabling you to view the programs. I hope this helps.

How do you tune in tv channels when you only have a signal input from a satelite dish and no sky decoder. TV is a sharp lc-32l400x with built in freeview. Can we plug dish straight into TV aerial port...

You require a satelite decoder/receiver for your dish and an aerial for your TV.
The choice is yours. Plug a satelite receiver, for freesat, into the A/V input on the TV or have an aerial installed for freeview.

I would like know how to get my tv working i was scaning and its automaticaly erased all the channels please email me at retaliation24@yahoo.com

Hello,

To get your television working, turn it off for about 30 minutes then turn it back on.
Ensure the cords are properly connected to the cable and see to it that the cable is receiving signals
from the antenna or dish or satellite.
Go to the menu and select the options of searching for channels.
Select the auto search, sit back relax and watch the television search for the channels that are available.
And if you are using a decoder or subscribe to a special kind of dish, then you will have to contact your dish operators customer care for guide on how to get channels working on the decoder.

Take care

Decoder keep scanning

well, firstly. u have a sat finder!! great!! now lets see if i can teach u how to use it, when you hook it up there will always be some sort of signal, (other electronic waves in the air) the best way to check is to put ur hand in front of the LNB (the square box in front of the dish) if he signal goes down, the signal was fine to begin with, if it goes up, the dish is out, if nothing happens... dead LNB, which in my experiance, the most likely cause, dont for get to reset your decoder once you have solved the problem.. good luck

I have Dish sattelite and it won't work with memorex under cabinet. They said I need a cable box in between the dish receiver and the tv. Why is this?

You need a receiver for each TV you want to receive the reception on. Your dish receives the broadcast signal from the network and your receiver decodes and recodes the signal to view on your TV. The companies have created their own proprietary equipment to accomplish this to keep anyone and everyone from simply installing their own dish and receiving all of their broadcast channels for FREE. In the olden days when satellite and cable TV was new, that is exactly what people did. Remember those gigantic dishes some people installed in their yards? They would intercept the signals coming from the satellites and hook up directly to their TVs. The companies got smart and started to scramble the signals going up to the satellites to make these home owner dishes obsolete. Because the signals are scrambled, you now need a receiver to un-scramble the signal. I hope this helps and good luck. Please remember to vote d368a18.jpg if you found this helpful. Thanks.
