if you used system restore you should be able to restore everything since the last restore was made. If you uninstalled the online Keyboard you might have to re-install it by going to the website and downloading it again. You might have turned it off?

Check the Key Board connection to the laptop by removing the Keyboard and Possibly replacing part.

You can put the computer back to the state it was in before you installed Word and you had the problem by using System Restore.

go into settings and look for keyboard. If not there download another from play store

you may try to do a restore but if not and it is a phone like you have to replace the processor

Hi Amol, could you please provide that which key is not working properly. Or is that the issue with the Keyboard Language. If you installed a new OS on you PC the language should be changed. For that you need to open Contrl Panel-->Region and Language (if not available change the view by to small icons from category). --> Select Keyboard from the Tab--> Press Change Keyboards--> Select English US--> Apply & OK--> OK. You need to reboot your PC and test the Keyboard issue. If you still facing the same issue then please get back with the correct issue (which keys not working).

could be a problem with drivers. Try to start windows in safemode. To start in safemode keep pressing F8 imediattly after the laptops starts and will show up a screen, choose safe mode. If in safemode works use system resotre and restore to an earlier time when worked.

Make sure the drivers for each are downloaded. If you can plug a mouse and keyboard in, check Compaq for the drivers you need for the model you have. You may want to do a system restore to an earlier date.

I take it your keyboard was OK until one day it stopped working. Here is what you should try before you mess around with anything else: Do a system restore. You don't say what operating system you have, but you should be able to find it under All Programs>Accessories>system tools>system restore. Restore your computer to an earlier time--like back to when your keyboard was working. Sounds like you installed something that messed your system up!

Making on screen keyboard active, and then press Alt+Space you will get menu to restore.
