F1 LIGHT IS ON

I am not sure what kind of bike you have installed the X-TRE on, but the F1 or FI light is a trouble code, I would start back and check all the wires, connectors, hoses, cables etc. Also if your bike has an exhaust servo did you move it, if so put it back, and another thing make sure that your box is set in the proper gear mode setting, they say for a gsxr 1000+ it is 5. I may be able to find more info if this doesn't work, let me know and year make and model of bike K. good luck

Hi there - My GE Profile spectra XL44 Gas Stove shows code F1 with none-stop beeps, I only sgut the power off... - what should i do to kill that noise now ?

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced

Erratic fueling which surges up/down,and then often cuts out when idling or at slow speed. Bike's mileage - 18,000 miles. Could it be a need for replacemement timing chain ?

Hi, Jsbramley for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. For more information about your issue please visit the website below. Good luck and have a nice day.

A lot of times it is the exup servo motor needing adjustment. It will cause the Fi read out to eliminate.

Why does the engine stall when accelerating?

1. Remove the airfilter box and try to rev. it up but dont yank it up rev it up in a 3sec time interval from 0-9000rpm. If it revs up replace your airfilter it might look ok but the material it is made of ages and with damp in the air closes up the micro holes in it and chokes the engine as soon as you rev it up. If you have an airbox don't fit those smaller individiual airfilters you would have to get it jet dynoed, what I am saying is fit the same type air filter back on or you will have fuel air problems.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold from the head, start it up and rev it up in a time interval of 3sec from 0-9000rpm. If it revs up your exhaust is blocked and you either have a wasp stuck in your exhaust outlet or it is aged and blocked. Try closing your mouth and nose with your hands and breath in or out, this is the same with your engine.

3. If this does not rectify your problem you will have to look at your carburator float levels or your coil packs. Let me know if it work or don't so that we could fault find your problem this is the easiest and the firts steps to follow.

F1 error

It sounds like the tilt cut off may be to blame. If you put the bike into self diagnosis mode it will give you a code. This code can be checked and the offending sensor replaced. The tilt sensor in the tail piece is one sensor that turns the fuel pump off and so stops the engine.
