If the app is a part of the firmware (android device) you can't. You can delete only the customer installed apps (third-party applications). You can do this from Settings - Applications.

SOURCE: ASUS Eee 2G surf. changing to google Crome and deleting unwanted

Go into add/remove programs in the control panel or if your running windows 7, go into programs and features and from there you can remove all the programs you don't want on the hard drive.

Then go ahead and download google chrome. You'll have all enough hard drive space left to do things. You won't be able to remove Internet Explorer because thats part of the operating system.

How do I remove unwanted apps?

Although on most phones, you cannot delete all pre-installed apps, there are some where you can delete most. If you have an iPhone, chances are, you cannot delete pre-installed apps. To delete and app on an iPhone, press and hold on app for around 3 seconds. An "x" should pop up on the high right and you click on that to delete the app. If you have an android, go to your play store and manually uninstalling it.

Why isn't the X showing up for me to click on while trying to delete a app? How can I fix it?

you cannot delete them:
there are some core apps belonging to the iOS system and cannot be deleted like 'clock', 'calendar', 'contacts', 'facebook' etc.
- however you may create a folder (unwanted apps) and put them there, then they are at least out of sight and use less desktop space.....

How to remove an app from Icloud

There is a fairly detailed explantion of this on this page: which also has links to additional information on the subject. Also, there is a link on the page to that tells even more on the subject.

Information on the second link says: "If you have an app that stores its data in iCloud and want to remove that data from your device and your iCloud account, you can do this by going into the Settings app and selecting iCloud, Storage and Backup and then the Manage Storage option. Read more at"

I've not had reason to do this, so this is untried. Best of luck!

Delete appp

deleting apps are easy. just put the icons on wiggle mode by keeping your finger on one of the apps. Once they start wiggling just press the "x" that pops up on the top left corner of the app you want to delete. Once you delete all of the apps you can press the home button to stop the icons from wiggling. Just know that the stock apps like the camera, photos, clock, newsstand, etc etc you can't delete.
