Wahser shaking during wash

washer adjusters are underneath. feet unscrew in two directions, one takes the machine higher and the other direction lower. try it with a crescent wrench or flat open-faced 1/2" wrench. Try lifting the front of the device, but there are generally 4 feet/supports underneath, so find a way to get to the rear supports from the rear. You will best do the job if you can move the machine away from the wall~! Get a simple wrench the size of the bolt/washer on each foot is the key.

Amana LWD70AW I have a replacement transmission and seal kit but cannot remove the old hub from the old trasmission to remove the outer tub. how do I get it off?

You need to use a special wrench to remove the nut from the center of the hub to pull it off.
The Amana part number for that spanner wrench is 306P4

perhaps you could usea socket i am dont remember for sure but belive the size would be 1 13/16" size (that size is only available in 3/4" drive (or 1 inch drive) so ya would needa 3/4" drive ratchet,extension and the socket)

The spanner wrench could be ordered at your local appliance parts store or online at;

I am looking for where I can buy the Allen wrench for my simplicity SW432 serger. Please advise me where I can buy it. Thank you.

You can purchase complete sets of Allen wrenches in either SAE (U.S.) or Metric sizes at most hardware stores, home improvement stores, Radio Shack stores, etc. for relatively short money. If you can bring the screw with you or find out what size it is from inside your manual - you might be able to purchase only the particular wrench you need. If you can't find the size of the screw documented in your manual, you'll have to check both SAE and Metric sizes for the best fitting wrench .

Sewing machines often use very small fasteners and are precision devices through and through. Simply using a wrench that "fits" as opposed to the one that is the "correct size" will affect how many times you'll be able to loosen and tighten that screw. Using a wrench that "fits" will eventually wear out the screw head making it impossible to turn in or out, much quicker than using the correct size Allen wrench.

I hope this helps and good luck. Please rate my reply. Thank you.

Wrench required to level machine

Nothing special -- an adjustable wrench (thumb wrench) will do; or even a pair of pliers (channel lock pliers are best). You turn the legs to raise or lower them.

LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer. I am trying to remove the big nut

the best way is to have some one hold the drum from the front and turn the nut. it can also be done sometimes by turning the drum in the opposite direction and then pop it with the wrench. not the best way but it works.or you can hold the stator assy with one hand and tap your wrench with a hammer.i hope thia was helpful,would like to here how things worked out.

Washing down comforter

It really depends on how big the drum is. It needs room to wash properly, so if there is no room - I would say it's too big.

Try your local laudarette - they have industrial machines that are designed for large items, so to save yourself a repair bill - just use them.
