SOURCE: Unlock Phone SAmsung SGH-U700

hi amielle,

if ur have forgotten ur phone lock code, it won work with any sim u insert...u can't go inside d phone, unless d lock is removed, which is possible if u know d code....so take it to an authorised samsung service centre and tel ur problem....they ll remove d lock and restore it to factory settings...because oly they have d software to unlock ur phone....if ur mobile is within warranty period, this would be done at free of cost....
                                                                          best wishes,

SOURCE: want to factory reset an unlocked htc touch cdma (vogue)

All you have to do is... hold down the (RED) End button and the (GREEN) Send button at the same time, and while still holding them down POKE your stylus in the soft reset hole at the bottom of phone.
Soft Reset button is located to the right of the mini USB charging port, assuming the phone's screen is facing you.
Confirm you want to Format and Done!
P.S. Sometimes if you don't hold the Green and Red buttons hard enough they tend to unclick and reclick if you don't apply Firm and even pressure. Also if you still have trouble make sure the phone is in the BOOTING cycle when you attempt this.

Yes, it is possible to reset your phone to factory setting. The codes are different for different brands. For your Samsung the reset code is *2767*2878#. After you typed the code your phone will re-start and its all back to the original factory settings! See you around. Take care.

Samsung jet no sim mode ??

there is a possibility that it can be, but check first your phone profiles through settings, phone profiles, check the profile modes, if offline mode is check, select another profile mode from your phone, normal, outdoor, meeting, up to you. but after you made this and the phone has the same issue, then do the following, turn off your phone, remove your sim, clean the sim's contact's surface with pencil eraser and wipe it out by soft cloth, clean those six contact's on your phone, but be very careful cause one bent of contact's what you'll get is a damaged phone,.
once finished, insert again your sim and check. if nothing happened, then do a factory reset, remove your sim, switch on your phone, and type this code to your keypad *2767*3855#..
good luck

Hi Joe - http://horizonwirelessonline.com has the answer!

They can reflash the phone with newest firmware and restore to factory original settings for you.
If you want they can reset all the GPRS ans WAP info too.
You need to send them the phone, but it's worth it.
