We are harvesting wheat and are having trouble getting a clean sample. We have the fan at 1300 concave closed right up and the thrasher on 800. Having trouble with straw in the sample and white heads.

have you checked the screens for missing lovores, you may have to remove the top set to find the ones letting straw get to the clean grain auger that will then send it to the grain bin.
hope this helps

Is this a whole grain? Or is like white flour?

Burgoul or bulgar is wheat hearts, it may not have wheat germ or bran in it. So it is more like a white flour with nutty wheat heart pieces

Wont start mixing

Which program are you using, white, wheat, french, etc.? Black and Decker bread makers I think ever start right away. They warm the oven gently for awhile. If your machine hasn't started mixing within 30 minutes of pressing start, only then do you have a problem. That is true for the Wheat program for sure.

Plugged in, turned on, selected number, won't start or make any sounds at all

Some machines appear to be doing nothing for the first few minutes. Give your machine about 15 minutes after you push start before you conclude it is not operating. This is especially true on the whole wheat program....

I received my breadmaker Christmas 2009. I have always used the basic setting but decided to make wheat bread. The recipe calls for a different setting. After I plugged it in, nothing happened; for...

Yes, many machines warm up a little when you choose the wheat setting, also if your manual shows the cycle times for the various programs you will probably notice a different Knead time (more) vs. the basic program and that is because whole wheat flour lacks enough gluten to make a nice, large, soft loaf, so to compensate it has a longer knead. Even with that though your whole wheat loaves are probably going to be shorter than a 100 whole wheat loaf.
Many bakers ( me included) add purchased wheat gluten and add that to the flour, (be sure to remove and equal amount of w. wheat flour from the recipe if you do this) to get a softer, higher, better texture loaf.

When driving on highway and brakes are applied the steering wheel and brakes shake heavily

Sounds like you have one or more out of round (warped &/or rusted) rotors. Most times you can pull each wheel & visually see rusted or ridged rotors, but not always. The brake pads might appear to have plenty of lining left on them, but the rotors are no longer true. Rust & heat will damage the smooth (true) condition of the rotors that is necessary for the proper operation of the brakes. You can have each rotor checked for proper runoff individually. Start with fronts first, even though the rears are just as likely to cause the pulsation you are experiencing. Take them to any auto parts store & have them checked for out of round. Once you locate the problem rotor or rotors, you can usually machine them 1 time or compare with the price of new & machine or replace.

Whole wheat cycle no longer works!

Are you taking into account the preheating for whole wheat cycle? The machine preheats for 30 minutes before normal cycles start - only on whole wheat setting.
