SOURCE: The WORX triimer battery is
Make sure the battery and trimmer's contacts are clean- use a qtip and isopropyl alcohol, or a pencil eraser, or fine emory cloth, if corroded or oxidized. This could be a cracked, loose, or corroded connection anywhere in the wires or power feed, including the switch. If the battery is getting old, it could charge, but not hold enough juice and run down quickly. Measure the battery after it's charged, and then try to start the trimmer, and measure it again. If it's dropped, it could be a bad battery. A motor can short out, but that's the last thing to suspect. Here's what one person said in a review on Amazon.com:
y GrampaSmo "Grampa" (Maryland USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WORX Air WG541 18-Volt Cordless Blower/Sweeper (Lawn & Patio) The blower is ok but the battery does not last more than 5-7 minutes. I called Worx and they replaced the battery but it still does not work more than 7 - 10 minutes. Worx said I needed to recondition the battery by draining it totally then recharging (4 times) and to always drain fully before putting back on charger. This did not work. When I asked Worx for my money back they told me they couldn't do that at this time (even though the product is under the 2 yr warranty timeframe).
Bottom line: don't waste your money. Product is POOR.
Not encouraging, but hopefully it's just dirty terminals.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

1) replace again the batteries by new ones and completely charged.
2) test the charger if if functioning properly, can be faulty, and not charge well the batteries.
3) test the power supplies inside from the scuba, to due some short circuit drain the batteries.
God bless you
