Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My VHS-to-DVD Burned Disc used to work and now it doesn't

Richard,

It could be your disc is scratched or DVD+R can't be read in the DVD player. Check for any scratches. Then pop in the disc in to your PC DVD, to see if it's readable.

The DVD player on my VCR/DVD player quit working. It was fine a day ago, but now all I get is a blue screen. The VCR works just fine. I've checked all the connections and cannot find a problem.

The problem seems to be the laser lens on the DVD player. If you have a DVD lens cleaner try cleaning it. If that doesn't work then it is Possible that the laser lens is bad.

are the ones that dont play genuine ? if so it could be that the laser is just very sensertive and it picks up light surface scratches.

DVD will not play when the play button is pushed

call support from manufacturer on how to reset your player,
For instance, on Samsung players after it is powered on you hold in both channel buttons for 10 sec and the player restarts. that fixed mine that had the same problem

Hi You haven't included alot of details, but if you are connected through a VCR, then the copy protection on the DVD will cause that effect, or if you have accidentally connected your yellow video cable to one of the component video jacks on the back of the DVD player, or possibly you are trying to play a PAL DVD on an NTSC player. Those are the most common things we see when the average consumer has video problems, but sound is ok. Hope it's one of these, and not truly a video problem. Good Luck!
