That is a smart idea. - See if you can locate the manufacturer of the portable battery device and then see if they have a website and a location where you can register the model number and serial number. OR - see if a registration card is available for the accessories they are giving you.

I have a Wind Chaser Dual Hose A/G item #3340 that I purchased online from Costco and it was delivered to my house. We paid $486 and it really does not really cool down much of the room at all. The room...

Unfortunately, you waited about 4 years to long to return it to Costco. In addition, Windchaser has been out of business for about 6 months. That's why the number you called is out of service. So returning it is definitely not an option.

I'm sorry, I wish I had better news for you. But, you just waited to long.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I bought the uniden model, listed below,at Costco.I found that there was no manual in the packaging. I felt, that rather than return to the store ,I could get the manual on line, and just download it. ...

I may be wrong, but from the looks of it, you bought an expansion module. It is an extra phone that you can register to a compatible base and use as additional handset. In this case the base serves just as a battery charger.
I suggest you return it to the Costco warehouse or purchase the "start up" kit with two or three handsets.
