Replace fan it probably has a safety feature that will not let it start without the fan running
or it may have a thermal overload circut that keeps cutting in

    osmedokey

there is usualy a protection circut inside the unit somtimes there are fuses inside or just a reley for protection open the unit if off warenty and look for fusescheck them all

failing that verify polairity and tap on all the releys 1 at a time with the unit turned on

now hook all the speakers up to the unit and when i say verify polairity it meand plus goes to red and - goes to black or neg from the speakers in some units it a speaker is incorectly conected it will trip the protection circut especialy if all the other speakers are wired properly

a relay looks like a box verrying in size from 1x1/2 to 4x4 inches that is

    happy hunting and good luck

failing that take it to a local repair shop ask how much for an estament and take it from there

I am tiring to install a GE touch auto shut-off timer, I have 2 wires in the wall 1 black & 1 white, the switch has 4 wires (1 green[ground?], 1 blue, 1 black & 1 white) when I try to follow the...

You might not be able to use that switch in your configuration. It appears that the power was run to the light and only two wires were run back to the switch. The old switch only closes to connect those two wires completing the circuit at the lighting fixture, but you need a hot and a neutral to operate the electronic switch that you have.

The wires for hooking this fan up are white, black and blue my guess is white and black are hot and blue is a ground wire. is this right?

White (Neutral) White to White

Blue (Light to Hot) Blue to Black (optional)

Black (Fan to Hot) Black to Black

Green (Ground to Ground) Green to Green

If you do not have a green lead you might see a green screw to attach the ground wire from the house power. The fan has the optional light fixture future connect the blue wire to the black hot wire. If you have the optional light fixture you may want to connect it to a separate switch power.

Are you sure you got the wiring correct?
Ceiling fans usually have 4 wires....a black a white a blue and a green
the black & blue wire from the fan need to be connected to the black wire the white to the white and the green to the ground

Speakercraft DBB12100 Amplifier, Circuit problem

Sounds like its a problem with over heating. open unit clean out all dust and dust bunnies wich compressed air. check that all fans are opperating. (fans on 6x100 amp units or thermal controled). If amp goes into protection prior to fans turning, there is your answer. the @ power supplies will have a green light on the output side. if the light in on power supply is good. or you can check that the output voltage is at 48Vdc on both units.

Question about light bulb problem in ceiling fan

Check wiring @ ceiling. Should b a black, white, green & red wire coming frm fan. Green is ground. Black & Red is power. White is neutral. Black provides power to fan, red provides lat power 4 lights. Remove light assembly, blue wire provides power. B sure 2 turn off power 2 fan b 4 working on it w/switch & breaker. Maybe lose wire connection or pinched wire grounding out. Fans require vibration proof bulbs regular bulb elements will break after short time use. Fan bulbs have larger filiments inside bulb.
