Nope. Actually, please see linked letter below from FDA to DoTerra about their "claims" and what their ingredients actually are for.

SOURCE: Is DoTerra FDA approved or is that false?

It is False, they do not have FDA approval . Actually, please see linked letter below from FDA to DoTerra about their "claims" and what their ingredients actually are for. FDA says only use DoTerra if prescribed by a doctor.

I've pulled the most important part out:
"Your products are prescription drugs as defined in section 503(b)(1)(A) of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 353(b)(1)(A)]) for some of the claims made for them because, in light of their toxicity or other potentiality for harmful effect, the method of their use, or the collateral measures necessary to their use, they are not safe for use except under the supervision of a practitioner licensed by law to administer them."

Is Splenda bad for you and cause you to gain weight and bad for your liver

I will answer this question guardedly, but this WEBSITE is not intended for questions such as yours.

SPLENDA is an artificial sweetener, that may or may not cause bodily harm, even though the FDA probably approved it for use. A number of drugs or food additives approved by the FDA have LATER, after some time in general use, been found to cause human harm. You cannot rely on just the manufacturers or the FDA's statements regarding the product. Investigate yourself online intensely, THEN, make your own determination and decision regarding its use. NATURAL FOOD stores have substitute sweeteners that do no damage to humans, and are completely non-sugar based, if that's your main concern.

Do kids need permission from their parents to get their ears pierced? My daughter wants to get it done and I am against it so I wondered if she would be able to go to a shop and get it done without me?

That's a really complex question and depends on many things including your daughter's age. I don't think there is a clear cut law requiring piercers to get permission before doing it to minors but I would think that in the case of younger kids coming to them without a parent, most shops/ salons would clarify first. If you daughter is a teenager, it's unlikely that people will request parental approval.

Piercing is very common and socially acceptable these days. Many parents worry about their kids getting excessive amounts of piercings or doing it in strange places on the body but if your daughter wants just earrings in her ear lobes, you might find it's easier not to oppose her and hopefully then prevent her feeling the need to defy you.

Does maybelline use lead in their product???

Maybelline is owned by L'Oreal. And yes they do use lead . Cosmetics are not subject to pre-market approval by FDA. However, pre-market approval is required for the color additives used in cosmetics (including those in lipsticks) and other FDA-regulated products (with the exception of coal-tar hair dyes). To learn more on this subject, please refer to FDA Authority Over Cosmetics1.

Doesn’t the government certify that personal care products are safe and healthy before they can be sold to consumers?

No. Major loopholes in federal law allow the $50 billion cosmetics industry to put unlimited amounts of chemicals into personal care products with no required testing, no required monitoring of health effects, and inadequate labeling requirements.

Neither cosmetic products nor cosmetic ingredients are reviewed or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before they are sold to the public. FDA cannot require companies to do safety testing of their cosmetic products before marketing
