My moniter won't stay on for more than 5 seconds

This can be due to bad power supply DC filter caps.
Bad backlights inverter circuits, worst case will be bad lamp assemblies.
Please read my guide first before DIY repair.

I think the fan is bad, it makes a lot of noise. Can I replace it?

cmurray12,

You do not have a bad fan, you have a bad optical disc drive. See my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4160054-replace_color_wheel_in_dlp_projection_tv for the replacement procedure and where to get the parts.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

MY VX810 HAS DEVELOPED AN ANNOYING MESSAGE CENTER SCREEN LOCKING AND UNLOCKING OSD PLEASE HELP

It may have bad EEPROM or unstable 5vdc feeding the logic board, look inside for bad caps and check the 5vdc, similar to this: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/Viewsonic%20VX710_910/

What would cause a wheel bearing to go bad

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

The wheel bearing is a wear and tear thing so it tends to go bad due to old age. If the vehicle is dip prolonged on flood it can go bad. If the wheels are not aligned or has wiggle it can go bad too.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

WASHER FILLS UP WITH WATER AND THATS IT

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Can you provide the make of washer you have and if possible the model number would be beneficial.

Most problems as you described are related to lid switches, but that may not apply to yours, hence the need for a make and model.

Thanks for choosing FixYa, I`ll watch for your reply.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)
