SOURCE: phil and teds sport stroller

hi we had the same problem with our p&t sports buggy, brand new out of the box the front wheel kept locking, driving me mad! we contacted our supplier, kiddicare.com, who were extremely helpful and sent out a "front wheel swivel/fixed catch (screw fixing)" - it has WORKED WONDERS! the buggy is now smooth and easy to handle. you have to remove the old catch pin which can be a bit of a fiddle (when we got the old pin out it was a rivet fixing and very rusty) but only took us 10 minutes. highly recommended if you can get hold of one of these new screw fix pins, which have obviously been brought out to fix a common fault which p&t can't be bothered to recall lots of buggies and fix themselves...... ;)

SOURCE: the front wheels on my Maclaren XLR keep locking up

Hi,

When you click the wheel release (to make them go onto swivel mode) press a little harder as it sounds like you haven't fully engaged the release mechanism.

I hope this helps.

My city mini front wheel keeps locking

I fixed this by cutting up an old Blockbuster video rental card into a C shape that would fit over half the wheel well where the metal locking mechanism would come up. That front wheel will never lock again as long as the C shape card is in place. Here's how I did it:

You have to unlock the front wheels. Pull out and up on the front wheel lock. Watch the demo video on www.gtbaby.com website.

On my stroller there is a little plastic piece just above the front wheels.  If you push it to the left it will lock the wheels.  Push it back to the right to unlock the wheels.  You may have to push a little hard to move it.

Front wheels swivel and get stuck on each other

This is happening to my stroller and it turns out that the frame is bent. I have been unable to find a certified technician who is willing to fix it. I guess I can offer it for parts to someone.
