I can't find the meanings but I'm assuming this is a 950 WiFi communicating tstat? If you click on the alert it should tell you the definition of what it is. Also enter the diagnostic screen and enter the summary table. You will see a list of communicating devices. If one is "offline," this is your problem. Try to refresh or then remove the device that is offline. Good Luck. Let me know!!

I am on 6ya and I am currently available. Not sure if you can find me but I have a fair amount of experience with these stats and can likely walk you through the diagnostic.

Trane XL850 error code 177.40 what does it mean?

It's an 'emergency shut down' and can only be cleared by cycling power. Looks like from the description that the heat pump is trying extra hard to keep up. You MIGHT could prevent this by going to AUX heat which would turn on your heat strips. I think.
There's more to the error code.
Here's the PDF. It's on page 22.

What does the alert code 80.01 mean on my trane comfort link ll thermostat

This alert popped up on a new system all of 4 months old. I do not have an answer to 80.01 error however with the error my system had completely shut down. I rebooted the thermostat (950 WiFi Com.) which did nothing. I then turned off power to the AC unit at my indoor breaker box for 1 minute and that did reset the AC and allowed the system to come back online.

Hello, I am trying to wire up my new Nest thermostat coming from a Trane Weathertron. The error code E106 keeps coming up. It seems to heat the house fine. I've included pictures. Thanks in advance!

Check your settings for the stat. Be sure you have your heat set up properly. Gas/electric, tstat btings fan on in heat or equipment brings fan on???

79 i believe is a low pressure error code. This means you are low on refrigerant

My Trane AC thermostat (900 TOuchsreen) has an error code 126

Error code126 is equipment does not match value at startup. Usually a power surge or brown out can cause this problem. Turn power off to inside and outside unit, wait 5 minutes. Retry system.
