Smart Drive 601 would't stop draining

The drain pump of smart drive 601 wasching maschine recently got blocked by some bra wire. I took the pump out, removed the wire and reinstalled the pump. Since then the maschine doesn't stop pumping and wouldn't proceed or stop the program unless I unplug it from the wall. Plugged back in the maschine continous pumping and wouln't respond to any pressed button on the control desk.
Fischer and Paykel's hotline was completely useless as people are obviously unwilling to help.
Anyone out there who can help?
Cheers Florian

Florian i think you have a leaking seal at the pump. This will allow air to leak in and the pump is no longer able to sense when the wter is no longer there as it ****** air. the pump relies on a vacuum sensor that causes it to shut off and then resume the next cycle

With the machine plugged in and turned on, what to do is to press and hold down the start button, then press and hold down the power button (hold down for 5 seconds) the washer may beep up to 3 times during this process.

Next remove fingers from buttons, then turn off machine with the power button, then turn on again and only press the start button this will now reprogram the computer let it run untill end of cycle and this should fix prob.

If this would not resolve the problem, you need to contact an expert to check the control board to see if the control board is malfunctioning or not.

Hope this helps and have a great day!

Drain pump will not drain tub,but if i place drain hose on ground, tub drains with full hose.is the pump belt drive,or transmission shaft driven.thanks bob

check underneath but normally the pump is a stand alone unit at the bottom of the tub
it gets its power from the program board when it is progressed from wash to spin
problems that stop it from working mostly come from items stuck in the pump impeller preventing the motor from spinning
look for coins , hair pins , bra wires etc that get lodged in the pump housing

Smart drive 085

It won't spin until all the water is drained out. The drain pump may be blocked or faulty. Fix the drain pump fault first then deal with the filling issue. They will not be related.

You should be getting an Error code 37 pump faulty.
37.
(00100101) Pump Blocked Error (No change in the water level)
While draining, the water level reading from the pressure sensor has not changed for over 3 minutes. There are three likely reasons for this fault. One is that the drain hose or the pressure switch hose has been squashed or kinked and the pump out rate has been dramatically reduced. The second possibility is that the pump is partially or fully blocked. The third is that the pump is not operating due to Motor Control Module, wiring or pump failure. This fault could also appear if the machine is pumping to an unusually high head of drain hose or into an extended length of drain hose. The fourth possibility is a diverter valve fault or blockage, water level is not altering as the diverter is stuck in the recirculation mode, giving the module the appearance the pump is not lowering the water level.
Primary Source:
Action:1)
Pump System.
Check that the drain hose has not been kinked.
2) Check the length of the drain hose and try to reduce the length if
excessively long. A 39.36in / 1 metre extension hose of the same diameter fitted to the existing drain hose is the maximum allowable length.
3) Check for open circuit windings in the pump. (Note: Pumps are
fitted with a thermal cut-out, which will reset on cooling.)
4) If the basket is empty of water, remove the pump from the pump
housing and check that it is not blocked. Also check the drain hose is not blocked.
5) If the basket contains water, then service the pump from the top of
the machine by removing the top deck and inner basket. Bail out the water, remove the pump cap and hood and clear the restriction.
Secondary Source: Wiring.
Action:
Tertiary Source:
Action:
1) Check the pump harness is connected correctly to the pump. 2) Check continuity of the pump harness.
Motor Control Module module.
Activate the pump by operating the machine in spin mode. Check the pump is rotating. If it is not operating, and Primary and Secondary checks have been performed, then replace the Motor Control Module.

Water wont empty

We had the same problem with ours. I took out the steel tub and found there was a lot of lint blocking the pump (at the bottom of the plastic tub). There is a screw holding the pump cover. Once you remove this you can check it properly for blockages.
