On all burners?
Have you cleaner the burners and now its not working.
Try taking the burner tops OFF
Now put them back carefully, making sure that they completely fit.
It's unusual that they all fail at one.
Try my instructions and get back if it still doesn't work
Good luck

Hi there, I have a belling gas oven cooker, which when you try to ignite the oven or grill it keeps ticking but wont spark up. The gas is fine as you can light them manually and the hobs light fine so...

why would they be trying to light an electric oven ( see which product do you think they mean ) You need to check that the spark being produced is close enough to the gas outlet

Gas oven ignites only intermittent

I assume you are saying the oven will not light but you can see the igniter glowing....if this is the case you will still need to replace the igniter, igniters need to be drawing a certain amperage before the will open the gas safety valve. in this case your igniter is glowing unevenly orange and is old - it is not pulling enough amps to open the valve. Replace it and you should be good to go If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Good Luck!!! Mike

Belling G755 Cooker oven wont stay lit

I'll give this a go! With a cooker like this, you depress and then turn the control knob, press the ignition button and continue to depress the control knob for a few seconds. This is because a device called a thermocouple is heated by the flame and you have to continue to depress the control knob so that sufficient gas flows to heat up the thermocouple. If the thermocouple does not get hot or stay hot then the gas valve is automatically closed - stopping the gas. The thermocouple is a 'flame failure' safety device. If the gas gets cut off then the flame goes out and the thermocouple goes cold switching off the gas valve automatically. However, you are having to try and manually keep the gas going for a good five minutes. I would think that there is either a problem with the thermocouple or the gas control valve! My g70m oven ignites and stays lit but it won't heat up it stays the same all the time

Hi

You have one of these faults:

Faulty FSD (Flame Safeguard Device). When you turn your oven on the FSD lets a small amount of gas through, after about 30-90 seconds the FSD is satisfied and allows more gas to come through......this then moves over to the.......

Oven Thermostat, this will sense the heat from the oven and adjust the temperature accordingly.

If the flame doesn't go high after 60 seconds it's the FSD, if it does but then it goes low and fails to increase then it's the Thermostat.

Either way you need to get a qualified gas engineer to look at it.

I hope this helps

It seems to me that your oven has a thermo couple which is faulty. this needs to be repalced. This part control the gas going into the oven if faulty it will go out.

Most ovens have ffd or fsd, however im fairly sure yours is a neither of these and is a thermocouple.. hope this helps..
