Free advise on lcd monitor not responding to cpu?

I not getting the output from the cpu. If i reset ram then i getting output. Some times my computer is suddenly restarting and not responding.

tried to replace the memory.

i believe you may have answered your own question here because what you are stating is a malfunctioned monitor if you plugged other monitors to the cpu and they worked and the monitor in question is not working maybe it was a storm surge and since it did not have a surge protector then maybe the monitor is shot and you may need to replace the monitor...

Good Morning, my Acer Monitor seems to have a problem...whenerver I turn on my CPU, the screen is on but nothing can bee seen...can you advise what maybe the problem and how to go about resolving this?

My aunties monitor ,when she turn it on the monitor the power saving mode appears.

make sure data cable is connected from both end......One from CPU side and other from LCD side.

You must buy the speakers separately. When you do... they will connect tot eh CPU box

when u power up the computer u heared any beep check then num lock if u abkle to num lock on and off your cpu is ok.then tv to cpu connection we have to check.
also press F8 key when u power the cpu then go to enable vga mode.
then change resolution to 800*600 or 1024 *768

it is not the power cord you should chk for th video cord. it mean there is no siginal coming from the CPU.

Check your video card drivers are installed correctly.
If unsure, the reinstall them again, it won't hurt the system and there are probably new drivers out for it anyway.

Quickly go to the Acer website and check FAQ's and while there also find out how to get an RMA to return it. My guess is you have a bad monitor. At $200 roughly for a replacement I would hustle. I am assuming you got nothing but a white screen but did get video on your TV.

You need to isolate the problem first. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Connect the problem LCD monitor into different computer (to see if the problem is the monitor or it could be the video card in your computer).

2. Try connecting a known working monitor to the problem computer.

If the problem monitor worked with other computer, then you may need to contact the computer manufacturer for the second opinion.

If the monitor did not work with other computer, then you may need to refer to the manufacturer of the LCD for repair.
