My Hobart glass wash machine model:FX.A.SEF 12/u73 keep reading put drain strainer correctly in place even though I can conform that the strainer is in place with the use of a true RM multimeter

Hi You may need to pull strainer out and clean basket better, check interior aspects of strainer housing to see if build up of any kind is blocking sensor contacts of strainer.

Hobart Dishawashwer led displays error Spanner EE.

Possible:
1. Dirty line strainer, causing low water pressure/flow. Turn off the water supply to the dishwaher, open the strainer cap, and clean the screen.
2. Low water pressure
3. Excessive Lime or mineral deposits in the wash/rinse system. You may need to delime the system.
4. Water temperature is below 110 degrees.
5. If equipped with a booster (heater), and more than 8 minutes pass with the water temp still below 110 degrees. Heater may be bad.

Hobart 400 plasma cutter. when i hit the trigger nothing but one short blast of air.

Make sure you have a good ground. If ground is good, make sure you are holding the tip level to the work and right up close.

Would you purchase the 400 hobart or go to 500 hobart plasma they seem to cut the same thickness on the metal chart..

It's all about duration. How much metal do you need to cut continuously. Although the 400 will cut a similar spec it won't hold out as long. So if it;s lots of short cuts the 400 is fine, if you need to cut thicker gauge for longer period go 500.

I have AM14C Hobart dishwashing machine and when the rinse turns on we only get about 5 PSI, how do I adjust the pressure or what do I need to look at?

the pressure regulator turn screw clockwise to turn up pressurre. But the line strainer could be plugged do you have bad water. Is the gauge correct.you can get a gauge at home depot for cheap.0 to 60 psi should be ok.usually made by watts.you dont have to use a hobart gauge.

Hi, could someone please let me know what error code 51e means on hobart gx7 glasswash machine? Oli

....The error code doesn't say "51E", it says "SIE". Take out the strainer from your wacher and place it the right way (probably turn it 180 degrees)...see http://www.cateringequipmentandrepair.co.uk/docs/Hobartglasswasherservicemanualfx-gpfpgd.pdf

Programming LX18H for TRUE FILL AND DRAIN

The LX18 series was a compromise machine, the lack of a sump heater causes numerous rinse temperature problems due to it's increased water use (over the sump-heater equipped, fresh water rinse LX30 series).

The LX18H can be reprogrammed for true fill and dump operation. If you still need to do this, please let me know via e-mail or post a reply, otherwise a won't post the long answer!

(I worked for Hobart as a service tech. from 1994 until 1999, and have been independent since then)
