I need a manual for a psr-275 Yamaha keyboard. Can you help me, please.

The owner's manual for the Portatone PSR-275 is available from Yamaha on the product page: . Click on the Suppport tab and look at the Downloads section. The English version is right there. For the manual in other languages, click on the More Downloads link and scroll down from the search box area. The links are done in Javascript so you'll need a modern browser to resolve them. The direct link to the User's Manual (in English) that came up today in my browser is . This is a PDF file so you will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read or print the manual.

I hope this helps.

How do you replace keys

Get replaceement keys from Yamaha America (musical instruments). Search Google for the phone number in California. You will need the model number and the key position that is broken and maybe the SN of your unit.
Download a service manual for instructions here:
When you go to this site DO NOT click on the download button but wait a minute for "Get Manual" to appear in the BOTTOM RIGHT and click on that link. You will get a PDF file of your SERVICE manual that has everything you need to understand how the keys are attached. BE VERY CAREFUL when opening the unit as there are tender ribbon cables between to two halves of the case. The manual probablly has a part number for the key in the parts list.

If the backlight is on and just half of the display data is there, it is probable the conductive strip has come away from the display or the contact portion of the board where the conductor strip lays on the circuit board.

If it is under warranty, contact Yamaha. If it not under warranty, you can try to fix it, but once adhesive lets go, it is diffeicult to get them to premanently readhere. A repair shop that is Yamaha authorized is able to get the New parts from Yamaha that fit.

Yamaha support i dont know how to work this thing

Well, the users manual is a good place to begin.
Select the "Support Button" to see the user manual download.

If you have never used a mixing board before, it can be intimidating. It really is not that difficult to figure out the basics of studio mixing. Textbooks on mic placement and setups will help some, but a great deal of it comes from developing an ear for the music and the instruments as well as the microphones. You should find many Youtube videos on the subject of mixing/recording, look for the one who presents information in the manner you best understand it. At it's best- it aproaches the level of an art form.

There are people who have held well attended art exhibitions with finger paints- You have the first piece of the puzzle to making your own art that is above the level of finger paints- a reasonable mixing/recording station. You do not have to fight the equipment to get it to work. The manual will outline what you can do with the machine, but you have to be open to it. You have to apply the things you know how to do as a discrete step with other gear, such as a mix CD from your computer or a mix tape from your home stereo. You set the EQ on your home stereo. It is now all at your fingertips in one device. If you were able to sit down at a piano or pick up a guitar and play deftly the very first time you did so- this could be a walk in the park.

The reality is it will take time. If you do not fully understand what the system can do- it you get it to do what you want it to do- it matters not what features you are not using. You can always learn new tricks as you go.

After using sp/dif out, from EMu-PX7 to yamaha aw-160. Error message "wrong word clock"on yamaha, non-functional until px7 is connected via sp/dif, on, and fully booted up?

im not sure which item is displaying the error message, you werent too clear on that. i think that the yamaha is the one displaying the message.

what has happened is the unit having the error message set itself to use the other device's clock as a digital timing master. there is some way, inside the device in question, to go through the menues and find a selection for "clock source" . you want the "clock source" set to "internal" for it to operate independently.

if you tell me for sure which device is desplaying the message, i *might* be able to find out where in the menu you have to go to find the "clock source" selection, but, without a manual, it would be very hard for me to figgure it out for you. if you have a manual for the device, you need to search through it for the "clock source" menu feature. if you dont have a manual;, you would prolly have better luck searching for "clock source" in the menus then i would have locating a manual for you. its not impossible to find it fiddling through the menu, now that you know for what to look.

I just had my Tyros 1 contacts cleaned and contacts on a couple octaves replaced. It plays fine but every setting button is now lit, as if it is stuck in the startup test mode. So I can't tell what is set...

In a word definitely. You didn't mention your location so: You will have to look here to find the nearest qualified repair person and I would suggest that the first repair person pay for it or at least pay shipping.
