I have an LG F1422TD and the knob doesn't work, the program get stuck in "Cotton" and can't change it. The rest works Ok

• If the power button is pressed, Only cotton program is automatically set.
• By turning the dial, [Cotton - Cotton Quick - Synthetic - Delicate - Wool/Silk - Hand Wash - Quick 30 - Duvet - Baby Care] can be selected. This is a bi-directional selector
Try pressing the switch again to see whether it will disengage or try pulling it up.

Kenmore 700 series dryer little temperature difference between delicate and high

Using that thermometer I am guessing that the readings are close to what they should be. Typically there is not as big a temperature change between the two settings. What made her first think there was a big problem in the temperature settings?

Kodak esp c315 not printing black

I had this exact problem and was able to fix it quickly. My black would not print or was printing lightly.

1) Open the printer and remove the black cartridge
2) Saturate a cotton ball with alcohol
3) push the cotton ball into the small pad/screen where the ink goes
4) wait a few seconds then replace the black cartridge
5) run maintenance app and do a cleaning then a test page

In my case this cleared up the problem quickly and without a lot of mess or dis-assembly

Sole plate is dirty after having it too hot for an item I was ironing. How do I clean it please?

Set the iron to maximum heat with no steam, this will re-melt the contaminants then use a damp cotton cloth and quickly wipe the plate, allowing the cloth to cool a bit between wipes. the cooling action of the wet cloth will cause the contaminants to stick to the cotton.

I cleaned my GE stainless refrigerator with Bar Keepers Friend cleaner, and now the finish is streaked. What can I do to give it a shiny finish again?

you can try a cotton rag and wd40

spray the wd40 on the cotton rag and wipe with the grain of the stainless steel then take a dry cotton rag and wipe up and down to remove the excess
ps it will also keep finger prints form forming so quickly after cleaning
