If this is the first time you have tried starting it after gas sat in it for a few months, you most likely have a strong battery, but a gummed up carburetor. You can always start simple: change out your gas filter, loosen the screw on bottom of carb and drain out all gas, then tighten it back up and put in gas with some SeaFoam and cross your fingers.
