You have a Troy Bilt motorcycle?

Crank case filled with gasolene indicates a carb problem ... typically, the float has a hole in it causing it to sink ... when this happens, the bloat valve can not turn off the flow of fuel and it runs into the combustion chamber, own past the rings into the crank case.

Many original Troy Bilt machines came with tank shut off valves, it is a good practice to turn this valve off when the equipment is not in use.

Gas runs through carbarator

if it is a 2 stroke engine replace the carb, if it is a 4 stroke try replacing the needle and seat. if the gas is running through the carb in a 4 stroke make sure you change the oil before trying to start it as you will have gas in the oil thinning out the oil and over filling the crankcase

Troy-bilt 34322 343220110815 mower will not start

Dump out old gas. Fill with fresh gas. Always use Stabile in gas. Clean or replace park plug and air filter. Check oil level. All mowers have a low oil start cutoff. 30w oil. If any grey in oil moisture contaminated, dump out old oil and refill. Check fuel line for cracks or leaking. Check primer bulb for cracks, replace if required. Clean outside of carb with carb cleaner to ensure easy choke operation. Remove carb bowl from carb, ensure float hangs down freely. float down fuel flow, float up fuel flow stops. Check bowl screw for hole thru bolt, if so clean out hole.

Where is oil drain for honda engine on troy mower?

I don't believe Troy-Bilt is any different than other chainsaws. There is no drain plug. You just turn it over and pour it out through the filler cap.

I did look at a diagram for Troy-Bilt and there was no drain.

Hope this helps

you are clearly burning oil. did you overfill? or tilt the unit so that engine oil went into the carb through the breather? now the carb may be soiled/partly clogged, you need to clean it. esp. the idler air part may be at fault. sometimes it is possible to run it at high rev until the fuel has washed out the oil, but better clean the carb and replace the air filter.

Your oil breather (on the side of the engine opposite the carb) may be malfunctioning/defective allowing the carb to **** oil from it. There is a breather tube that crosses over the top of the cylinder connecting the crankcase( oil) breather to the air filter housing. Check the oil level and the condition of the air filter and esp. the oil breather. It serves the same function as a PCV on a car engine.

Troy-bilt gas edger trencher won't start. Spark

Remove spark plug and pour 5mls or one teaspoon of premixed gas in the engine. Depress trottle to full with choke on "run", pull starter about 10 to 12 times If it starts and run for a while and then shuts off your carb needs servicing. If not remove muffler and look for a spark arrestor screen. This could be plugged up with soot. If it is, replace and this would have been your problem. While the muffler is off slowly pull starter rope and examine the piston if gas and oil oozes backwards as the piston moves to the top then the piston and rings need replacing.

Mower Running Very Poorly

Before I got into the carburetor, I would let all the oil burn out. It's mostly in the muffler and no, that didn't hurt the cylinder/rings. I would put a new sparkplug in as that one is oil fouled. See how it runs. I would change the oil to make sure no fuel seeped into the crankcase. It may need a carb cleaning, especially if you weren't using a fuel stabilizer (such as STA-BIL).
