Question about Pioneer Televison & Video
Do you know if there is a way to reset the TV that might improve the time/performance of the Channel Guide and Selection functions. NOTE: the channel selection is also slow when I'm watching one station and enter a number to switch to another station. It literally takes up to a minute sometimes. Thanks for whatever help you can offer
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: tv guide/tuner problems
Most likely the TV Guide is broadcast from the OTA PBS channel. I don't know why its being lost. I'm thinking its probably a firmware problem of some sort. Adding the PBS channel back in, making sure the signal comes in ok and leaving the TV off for a while might help.

To initialize ALL parameters to factory defaults: With the unit OFF, press "Skip Rev" ( |<< ) and "Time Slip" and "Open/Close" for 5 seconds.
will self check, say test L1, power off, on again.. go thru setup. no data was lost.
