Check your door seals or for cracks in plastic shelves. Sounds like condensation getting to metal causing rust.

Once you stop the condensation. If door looks good after cleaning just apply a good grade car wax and buff. Will clean easy afterwards. Could paint but would bevery hard to match the shade of white, would have to paint whole fridge not to look funny.

Water in drawer and underneath

This is not terribly unusual, especially in summer. There may be a humidity setting in your fridge which is appropriate when temperature is warm/humid. Also make sure there's good air-flow (don't make piles of stuff in the back of the fridge, for example). Finally, make sure the seals of the door are tight.

Water is intermttently running out the bottom of our french door fridge

Check the door gaskets. If they are leaky, humid air from outside gets in and the moisture condenses inside at a high rate. This could cause the condensate pan to overflow.

LG gc-151sa fridge works on. But door frame get hot what is this

Door frame around the freezer compartment is heated to prevent condensation around the door frame during high humidity conditions.

During times that Air Conditioning Or Heating are used in the house, the relative humidity is low and the "energy savings" switch may be turned on - that will turn the heater OFF.
WARNING: if you accumulate sweat around the door frame, you must turn the heat back on to prevent rust and damage to door gasket

Moisture buildup on exterior of freezer door

some moisture build up is normal, its called a condensation path, but the whole door may indicate a bad seal or terribly high humidity if it only does this during humid days

Do I want low or high humidity to keep vegetables crisp. Neither seems to make much difference.

The humidity switch does not control the humidity inside the fridge, but rather is used to control moisture that can form on the edges of the fridge and on the divider between the fridge & freezer compartments.

In areas that experience humid conditions, this is a common occurrence. The relative cold of the freezer & fridge in certain areas of the fridge case causes moist air to condense on contact. This condensation is prevented by a heater that is behind the metal case of the fridge. The moist air can't condense because the metal surface is warmer than the room air.

If you don't have a humid time of year, leave the switch set to "off", as the heater uses electricity and lowers the efficiency of the fridge and freezer - resulting in increased cost of operation. Not using the heater when it is humid will eventually cause the moisture to cause rust on the wet areas of the fridge case.

If I want low humidity in the (vegetables/fruits) crisper[s]

This is usually just a switch for a mullion heater that prevents condensation from building on the outside of the fridge between the doors. It has nothing to do with humidity inside the refrigerator. If your house is humid as not running an air conditioner, set the switch to high.

There is frost in the freezer. I thought it was frostless.

If you live in a humid environment its the water vapor in the air that is turning to frost in your freezer. Every time you open the door you are exchanging the cold dry air in your freezer for the humid air on the outside, and when you shut the door closed its this humid air that turns to frost inside the freezer. If its building up frost faster than normal you might have a door gasket that is leaking the cold air outside thus letting the humid air in, which is turning to frost. Check that your door is aligned properly and that the gasket is secure on the freezer door.

Hope this helps explain it.

Build up of a lot of water in side the bottom of my fridge the goods are still being kept cool. Fridge is a bauknecht IRU 1433 EN 153 Service no. 01/7875 66

I have had this problem. Although I have not been able to pinpoint the exact reason, I suspect that it is due to an old door gasket that is not providing a good enough seal all around the door. In especially humid weather, moist air outside the refrigerator gets in and the moisture condenses, much like on a glass of ice water on a humid day. If it bothers you enough, I'd say replace the door gasket.
