Re: Whats this??

You have to remove the scanner document feeder. The there are 2 torx screws on back, one for each side cover. Remove those then pop loose they side covers, the front surround cover will pop off as well.
On back there is a white cover between the the 2 side covers, 2 more torx screws remove that back cover.
Then remove the ink loader. Where the sticks are.It is just dropped in and has a couple of plastic clips on the sides. That will expose the print head area. Between the print head and the drum, that is where the blade will be. And would be tacked to the front of the print head.
The other very likely problem is the print head pivot block. It is located, looking from the front of the machine, about mid way back on the lower part of the frame. It is a stainless steel block about one inch square that the print head shaft pivots on. It gets ink in it and causes the head not to move back and forth freely.
To remove that, there is a spring latch over it that you just pull back and latch on to the upper left. You may need to use apair of channel locks to remove that block if it is full of, normally yellow ink. Then soak it in very hot water to soften the ink, and clean it well.
Post your E-mail address I may be able to send you some additional info for this repair.
