Cause of no backlight on led td

Hi Jason,
Generally there are two reasons for no backlight in LED TVs. Either it is the inverter which produces necessary power to drive the backlight stops working or some of the LEDs in the backlight array fail. In some TVs even one failed LED will cause no backlight.

Try turning off the power wait for 30 secs and reconnect the power and check if the LEDs light up again.
IF NOT THEN -
To reset the Linksys back to the default settings - Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of therouter with the power ON for 20 secs. then release the RESET button.
To connect to your wireless router, the router's wireless settings needs to beconfigured with the SSID, encryption etc. and also the wireless cards in allthe laptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wirelesssettings. Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicate with your wirelessrouter.
Connect a LAN cable from the Linksys to the LAN port on your computer.
Open a browser and enter the Linksys configuration URL
http://192.168.1.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = admin
You can protect your router by changing the default admin PW (write it down andput it in a safe place)
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

When turns on, tv gets off

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Check to see if you get any DC voltage on the output connectors.

Power problem

Sounds like a short. A resistor probably burned out, and is causing unregulated power to hit your system. If you look at your main PC Board, underneath the turntable platter (disconnect your turntable), and remove the board. You'll be able to look at the board, and see if there are any burn sections on the board. If so, than the components around that area will need to be replaced. Generally R213 gets burnt, and Q2, Q3 get burnt, causing this sort of issue. This is not something I would recommend fixing yourself, and I would suggest seeking professional assistance.

You might also want to take a look at your fuses, which are located on the left side on a smaller PC board. If you don't see any fuses, then your unit does not have any fuses (common) installed.

Hope this helps.

Power on problem

A problemm is being deteced during the startup process. To prevent further damage, the set is shutdown. What you are seeing is repeated attempts to startup the set. If the set is less than 1 year old, it should still be under warranty. Call for warranty service.
