It could be that your charger port is loose and needs to be fixed, which is a minor cost, and if you have a warranty on your phone they will fix it for you for free as long as it has no water damage. Good luck!

Battery won't hold charge

Hello,

The reason your phone is not holding a charge is simply because there is a problem with the terminal head.

The terminal head is malfunctioning and is not charging the battery.

To fix the terminal head,
  1. After removing your back cover and battery, remove the screws you see.
  2. With the screws removed you can now remove the battery compartment.
  3. With the battery slot removed you have access to the terminal head.
  4. it is the metallic sheets that rests on the head of the battery when inserted into the phone.
  5. Get a pin tip soldering iron and disconnect the terminal head from the green panel you will see,
  6. replace it with a new terminal head.
  7. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.

Another fault might be the charger or the charging port,

To test if it is the charger,

Try to use the same charger on another phone to see if it will work,

If it does not work then it is the charger.

To test if it is the charging port,

Test a well tested okay charger on the phone to see if it will work.

If it does not then the problem is the charging port and to change it
you follow the procedure of of changing the terminal but you have to disconnect the screen and the remove the charging port and replace it with another new one.

take care

I had water spilled on my phone, and that day the screen went white and stopped working, then it fixed itself, but now it makes a weird cracking sound in the earpeice, and when it charges, and also it...

You would be better served to get a new phone. Getting a cell phone wet is almost alway death to the electronics. Even if the phone dry out completely, The problems caused by the damp electronics will cause strange and intermittent problems.

When the phone powers on the screen displays "Download"

Okay heres what you do guys!!! Just happened to me today and I fixed it. Mine was at the bottom of a hottub for 2 days XD.

The power in the phone needs to run out
then, plug the phone up
wait about 30 seconds(download screen should be up and it is charging xD.)
Then Take the battery out and unplug the charge from the phone
Stick the battery back in
Wait about 30 more seconds
Hold down the Red Phone untill it turns on.

FIXED! YAYYYYY!

Holding a charge

Their website says only 6 hours of talk time for that battery. Could be that's all your gonna get from it. Every phone I've ever owned has needed to be recharged every other day and sooner if it's used more.

Battery not holding charge

That sounds like typical battery life for that phone.  When I owned one that's what I got on the weekends when my call volume was lower.

Water damage

it can be fix but i am thinking thta if you took to long for it to be fix but nevertheless take the phone to a mobile service center and have them service the phone to see if they can fix the issue.

Motorla Slvr L7 Won't hold charge

It depends on how much talking your doing. The Slvr is known for its low talk-time battery power. My slvr would last about 3 to 4 days on a charge, unless i was talking on it a lot. sometimes i would be charging it every other day. So it really all depends on the talk-time. Invest in a car charger for sure.
