Toner indicator says that there is low toner in the machine. It is necessary to replace toner cartridge and then continue with other error messages.

The fuser isn't heating up on time. You could try turning the copier off for 30 seconds and turing it back on again to see if it goes away.

If it doesn't happen, there is a part that has to be fixed on the fuser to correct the problem. Usually it is the thermistor.

Hope you are fine, ch are in two forms steady one and the blinking ch.
Steady CH
This is associated with door switch for either front cover or side cover. Check that the front cover of the copier and the right side is well closed.
Blinking CH
This is associated with the toner cartridge or the developer unit not being sensed by the machine. Make sure that the developer unit is well locked in the machine. Pull out the toner cartridge and insert back with some force into the machine, it should clear this sign. If it does not, replace a new cartridge Sharp Ar016ft and you are done. Good luck.

The ink cart. is dual component one is drum unit and other is toner unit. You may go to system information there consumable information which indicate the status of the both and according to that replace the chip of the respective cart.

My sharp AR-5316E is displaying Error F2


An F2 indicates a problem with either the toner cartridge chip that tells the machine that the correct cartridge is inserted, or the developer housing chip is defective. I would believe changing the toner cartridge will eliminate the problem.

Yes, Toner waste sump over filled; 100%!!! To confirm it, remove Toner cart. & make copy; I found same problem in Toshiba eStudio161, which is Sharp AR163, 5015, 5020 & 5316(all are same)

Your heater lamp maybe busted.

Use the simulation 14 to cancel the error..

If nothing happens then you need to check your heater lamp.

SHARP AR-5316 MAINTENACE RESET


To reset maintenance codes requires going into service mode. This should only be done by an authorized trained technician as changing or adjusting something in this mode could create all sorts of problems you dont want to deal with.

Sharp copier ar-5316


That unit uses an AR-016TD Toner/Developer Cartridge. The developer is changed each time you replace the toner. To remove the drum unit open the right side cover, then the front cover, remove the TD cartridge, loosen the green screw on the front of the developer unit housing just above the TD slot. carefully remove the DV unit without tipping or you will spill out the existing DV. Then you can pull out the drum unit. There may be a green screw on the drum that must be loosened but I don't think so on that particular model. Installation is the reverse of removal.
