If the light is on without cooking, you have a faulty door switch.

Lg microwave above the stove, lt is level but door wont stay open,as your putting items in it starts to close ,is there any adjustment on the door

Only gravity keeps the door in open position. You can try to tilt front down by loosening the top mounting bolts.

My glass slides down and wont stay up on my LG microwave oven how do I repair that

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

I am not sure what you are talking about.

But here is a start to help you. Find the model number, which should be on the face of the microwave when you open the door or on the side of the door.

Take the model number and put in into the following website. You will get diagrams, part numbers and prices.

Get back to me with the model number and the part that is failing and I will help you further. Water Filters Lawn Garden Appliance Parts

My LG microwave will not shut off. When not in cooking mode and I close the door, the light stays on, it makes a light humming noise and the center plate continues turning

All microwave ovens have microswitches to confirm door open/closed. Many have several, and a bad switch can cause all sorts of strange issues. My ovens have 4 such switches, and I've had several go bad. You have to open the oven up to see which you need, measure them, and replace the bad ones. The good news is that the switches aren't expensive.

Lg lmv2053 microwave oven baffle in between the glass and the door frame, how do i get it to stay so i can but the door back together????

To zig107 RE: LMV2053XX

A lot of times it's easier to set the microwave on its left side, then open the door and work on it.

That way, gravity will help you keep things in place.

On this over the range model, you'd have to pull the oven from the wall. Refer to your installation instruction booklet for details.

If for some reason you don't still have yours, you can order it as part number 3828W5U0492 from the Pros here. They are a good source for LG parts.

You can download the owner's manual here.

You can download the service manual by clicking the text link below the document preview on this page.

Be careful where you click on that page (which is not mine). Please follow the download instruction above.

Samsung microwave #SMH1611B door won't close

If it has the "double hook" type latch on the door, see if the hooks slide up and down. They should be spring loaded,if not,the spring attachment point inside the door may have broken off(my Sharp Carousel did this).I pryed the plastic door trim loose, and reattached the spring by using one of the slots inside to hold a metal wire clip(modified with needle-nose pliers) to hook the spring onto.Your door's design may be a little different, but a similar solution will probably be apparent after you get in there.

Door button broken on LG LRM123 microwave

Many times a microwave will have a lever under the front edge of the unit to open it in case of a power failure. Have a look.
