SOURCE: Chamberlain door will not close, despite down force set to max

Problem solved, sort of-
My unit has self diagnostic capabilities: next to the remote sync red button, is a yellow light the indicates diagnostic readings by blinking. In my case the light was flashing 5 times after the door failed to close. This meant RPM sensor failure. I rechecked the sensor and "flywheel" cap and found that it was not completely secured. With the "flywheel" in the proper position, providing readings for the RPM sensor, the door completely closed.
But my yellow diagnostic light is still flashing 5 times. My door is operating correctly, but the diagnostic feedback is still not completely happy with my RPM sensor. So I will keep and eye on it.

SOURCE: Can the travel limits on a Chamberlain security+ be reset?

If you are at the back of the operator looking toward the door the limit adjustment should be on the left hand side.
The adjustment closest to the door is the down limit turn that 3 turns clockwise. The adjustment screw furthest from the door is the up limit turn this screw 3 turns counterclockwise. That should get you close to factor settings. If this does not work; remove the cover on the operator sometimes the limit assy. come apart.

We just installed a MyQ on our garage door, and the first time my wife used it (she tried it about 2 blocks away from home), it didn't open and she said she got a message that it wouldn&#3

Garage door openers can sometimes be triggered by (illegally) boosted CB or ham radios.
A passing vehicle pumping out high power might open the door (an acquaintance did this years ago annoying the neighborhood) and the 30 minute delay may serve to protect against unwanted opening of the door.

How do you reset travel settings? indicator light blinks 5 times whats that mean?

The light blinking 5 times is the code for "RPM sensor or motor overload". Adjusting the travel limits depends on the model you have but most of them are on the side of the motor unit. If you turn the control in the direction of the arrow printed on the cover the door will travel further. Turning in the opposite direction will shorten the distance.

The door doesn't move up high enough from the top of the garage opening, I have adjusted to chain nothing seem to work.

The 'up limit' control is on the side of the motor unit. Turn it in the direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Each full turns is approximately 2 inches of trolley travel.

My door opener is new, Chamberlain, mod cg40cd, the drive will hit both limits. will not let me set the up and down limits, doesn't seem to matter whether I set the up and down to max either way??????

THE TRAVEL ADJUSTMENT IS ON THE SIDE.
YOU MAY BE ADJUSTING THE SENSITIVITY (TRAVEL LIMIT HAS NO MAX ADJ.)
BE SURE TO RESET THE SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT TO ABOUT 1/4

Not working

IT MAY BE AGAINST THE TRAVEL LIMITER BOLT.

IF IT IS YOU WILL NEED TO UNPLUG THE UNIT REMOVE THE COVER AND TURN THE MOTOR BY HAND TO BACK OFF THE PRESSURE.

MAKE SURE YOU GO PAST THE LIMIT SWITCH.
ADJUST THE LIMIT SO TH DOOR DOES NOT HIT THE BOLT.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Drive limits on my chamberlain wont register

Have NO IDEA what you are saying. Do you mean you adjust limits and chain moves too far? Or is chain not moving. Bad gears. Toss unit unless you are handy and can rebuild gears.
